This level 3 programme is equivalent to 3 A-Levels and has been developed in collaboration with leading employers and industry. Combining academic learning and a 45-day industry placement, you will develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to enter highly skilled employment, university or an apprenticeship.

You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a nursery setting within our state-of-the-art Health & Social Care Academy and during industry placement, and learn a wealth of knowledge and skills that will be invaluable for your future career.
An essential part of the course is that you complete 750 hours of industry placement, to gain considerable occupational experience as a competent employee in the early year’s sector.
What will I learn?
You will cover a range of topics such as: child development, safeguarding, special educational needs, the role of families and support agencies, and social interaction and behaviours, before going on to learning a specialist skill set required for a career in Early Years Education.
