As part of your transition programme you will gain experience in a range of Early Years Settings for a minimum of 250 hours. Whilst in placement you will also be visited by our assessors who will carry out observations to show you have gained the skills required to meet awarding body standards and are competent to work with children. Placement times can vary according to the setting.
Holidays cannot be sanctioned during college term as there are a required number of days for the college and placement, which must be completed in order to gain the qualification. 100% attendance is expected at college and at work placement. Learners should expect to be in college from 9am -5pm.
