Upon successful completion of the course the T level gives a license to practice in addition to a direct route onto a University Teaching course. The course structure is made up of 5 key parts and a minimum of 750hours placement.
Year 1
Core: Knowledge and understanding of contexts, concepts and theories of the education and childcare sector 0 –19 years (Such as child development, safeguarding and working with others).
Employer set project: where you will apply your knowledge to a real-life industry problem.
High quality Industry placement.
Year 2
Occupational Specialism – where you will further explore and develop skills and knowledge required to become a qualified practitioner.
Continuation of your industry placement.
