Tabla is the main percussion instrument used mainly in Hindustani classical Vocal music as well as Carnatic Vocal music. This musical instrument has been greatly influenced by the Arabic and Persian cultures, the name Tabla is derived from the Arabic word Tabla which means drums.
Tabla classes are offered by ST Marys Musical. All our tutors are fully qualified on their chosen instruments and hold an enhanced disclosure. Our lessons take place in a fully equipped, professional music school. For our students we only use the very best equipment available.
