Tai Chi is a traditional Chinese martial art that uses slow, gentle movements to cultivate strength, calm, and flexibility. Through the movements of the Tai Chi postures we activate our bodys natural energies, and then use these for martial practice as well as self-healing.
There are many different forms of Tai Chi and our particular style is from south East China. It is a pure white crane form called, Shuang Yang Bai Hè Rou Ruan Quan, and in English it is Frost and Sun White Crane soft and gentle flowing art.
Jian Taiji co-instructors Ian and Janet have been exclusively studying the Chen family style of Taijiquan since 1996 and have both been awarded instructors certificates from the Wenxian Research Institute of Taijiquan by Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei.
