We’ve included a list of the various types of dance we instruct, along with a description to help you make your decision.
Kickit Dance Studio provides a professional environment where students can grow into their full potential as dancers through technical training and hard work. Our faculty are dedicated to the success of each student, whether they take one class a week or 15 classes a week.
Each of our instructors are selected based on their professional excellence and expertise. We believe in teaching top level technical instruction in an encouraging and motivating way. Students learn not only discipline and skill but life skills such as teamwork, integrity and dependability.
An exciting rhythm based dance form that promotes coordination, musicality and fitness. Classes consist of warm-up, tap barre, tap drills, improvisation and routines.
The Advanced Kinder Program is designed for children ages 4 to 6 years of age. Some previous dance experience is recommended (usually 1 or 2 years of the Kinder Program). This program runs for 1 ½ hours and is divided into 45 minutes of tap instruction and 45 minutes of jazz instruction.
Our students will learn traditional tap dances along with other classic steps. Tap develops rhythm with coordination and improvisational skills.
