Tap has reached a new high in popularity because of it's fast pace and the technical challenge it presents.
It is the basis of such critically acclaimed international shows such as “STOMP” & “BRING IN DA NOISE, BRING IN DA FUNK”.
The levels of our Tap program are as follows: Pre-Jr, Jr. 1, Jr.2, Jr.3, Pre-Int. 1, Pre-Int. 2, Pre-Int. 3, Int.1, Int.2, Int.3, and Advanced.
All students in our Tap program have the opportunity to be involved in our Year-End Recital and some classes will be involved in Competitions throughout the dance year.

Students will learn basic tap techniques as well as explore improvisation, musicality, and elements of percussion. Basic music theory and concepts will be introduced.
This class is a high energy class in which feet become musical instruments. Tapping rhythms are set to all different eras of music from the classic to the trendy drum beats of today’s tap style.
Tap dance is a percussive style of dance using the taps on tap shoes to make rhythms and patterns with the music. The focus of tap dancing is on footwork and execution of rhythms, but also incorporates jazz dance style.
Tap classes provide an excellent way to further your child’s dance education after two or three years of Combination Dance classes. Particular emphasis is placed on tap technique with instruction on musicality and rhythms included.
Senior students have the chance to travel Tap Festivals held in key cities throughout North America to train with famous Tap Masters and perform for international audiences.
