Students are taught to think quickly on their feet in the challenging ADAPT work we cover in class. Dance Exams are available in December for those students the instructor feels are ready for the challenge.
At Kristy’s Dance Fusion, we want the memories you create here to be lasting ones. We have the tools to provide each child with proper technique and placement and we feel through direction, encouragement, hard work and lots of fun; each child can achieve their greatest potential.
Our excellent teaching staff will make every effort to creative a warm and friendly atmosphere for the children and for the parents. We often find the parents will create just as many lasting friendships as the children taking class each week. Our instructors take their jobs seriously and continue their training on a regular basis through revision courses and conventions.
Tap is a blend of steps and movement using coordinate rhythm and syncopated sounds in dance. It is literally making music with your feet. Fun and creative instrumental classes with your feet as the instrument.
Tap classes will include the ADAPT syllabus as is teaches the dancers terminology, technique and choreography.
From broadway tap to rhythm tap - this class is always exciting!
Class consists of basic tap steps, traveling steps and introduction to rhythm. Students require BEIGE MARY JANES or lower heeled Capezio Caramel or Tan Bloch shoes and proper dancewear. Class attends two competitions.
Broadway tap focuses more on the dance. It is widely performed as a part of musical theater. Rhythm tap focuses more on musicality, and practitioners consider themselves to be a part of the Jazz tradition
