Music students can choose from private lessons in: piano, violin, woodwinds, guitar, drums, and vocal music. Our acting classes encourage imagination and self-expression. For students interested in visual arts, we offer classes for children and teens.
All potential students are able to enjoy one free group class or a free 15-minute private music assessment to find a class or teacher that is the perfect fit. Students learn traditional tap skills, including steps, combinations and rhythms, as well as the history and theory behind them. In more advanced classes a stomp and hip hop style of tap is explored.
Using the sounds of metal tap shoes dancers create a percussive rhythm with their feet.
 We follow the ADAPT Tap Syllabus. Students may be eligible for Tap exams at the discretion of the teacher.Â
Making music with your feet! This class is full of energy helping to improve rhythm, musicality, footwork, and coordination. Dancers will participate in movement across the floor and in the centre. Placement is based off of both the dancers age and their ability.
Students will learn the basics of tap technique while developing a sense of rhythm, coordination and timing. Shuffle, ball change and stomp your way through a fun class that combines rhythm, sound and movement.
