Classes are fun and fast-paced and are offered to students ages 5+ in tap. Tap is an excellent way to develop rhythm, coordination, dexterity, and agility that carries over to other dance disciplines, academics, and athletics. Classes improve concentration and a student’s ability to grasp and execute combinations and instructions quickly.
Students not only learn tap technique but also develop self confidence, stage presence, and performance skills. Tap students in younger classes also receive an introduction to musical theater skills with routines that incorporate song and dance.
The Dallas Ballet Center creates a positive learning environment within 7 spacious and professionally-designed studios, where nurturing faculty teach all dance disciplines in the most effective, safe, and productive manner, encouraging students to excel to their full potential.
