Denise Dancing was established in 1982. Commencing at the McDonald Hall in Padbury & the Ocean Ridge Recreation Centre.
Due to the success & growth of the school in 1991 it was obvious that the Denise Dancers needed a home of their very own, therefore Miss Denise opened Joondalup’s very first dance studio.
Over the years Denise Dancing School has always strived to stay at the forefront in the dance industry both in its facilities & training methods.
Now celebrating our 37th year DDS invites you to become part of the continuing success story at "the original & still the best dance school in Joondalup".
Some of our students started tap dancing as young as 70 years old, and have reaped the rewards improving balance, memory, fitness and as they put it “groove”. It’s never too late to start tap dancing.
These classes are separated into degrees of competency so students learn at their own level.
Find your rhythm in the percussive footwork of tap. We work from the ADA syllabus, so you can create your own aural accompaniment while you dance.
Students will learn from the PDA Unique Technique Syllabus. It is great for all ages and develops strong tap technique with expression, challenging rhythms and sounds.
This class covers styles from slow, traditional waltz to speed & street tap. Tap pays particular attention to musicality, rhythm & timing. So get in there and make some noise
