We are committed to being friendly, welcoming, inspiring and inclusive in everything we do, and work hard to create a sense of community within our academy, and the people we work with.
We offer weekly dance lessons for all ages and abilities – from children through to professionals, with as many adult classes as children’s.
All tutors are experts in their dance genres and are overseen by Anna, Hype’s Artistic Director.
Although they work to a Hype Dance curriculum she has devised, tutors have the creative freedom to bring their own personalities into their classes.
All adult classes are non syllabus-based to allow our tutors to work to the needs of the group, both physically and creatively, as well as to develop a well-rounded understanding of dance – having plenty of fun along the way!

A fun, rhythmical dance style. Tap is as popular today as it was in its heyday when the likes of the great Fred Astaire and Gene Kelly were tap dancing on the big screen. It’s been brought bang up to date with shows like 'Tap Dogs' and 'Stomp.'
