Tap Dancing is a percussive art form in which dancers wear special shoes with metal taps on the bottom to create rhythms and music with their feet.
Intro to basic steps: toe heel, slap, shuffle, cramp rolls; combinations & timing.
Dance performed wearing tap shoes, characterized by rhythmical tapping of the shoes and heels to music
Tap Dance Classes are offered by Bender Performing Arts
Students develop better coordination, rhythm, timing musicality, and strengthens the feet and legs
