The CSTD Tap syllabus incorporates world renowned training and resources. This ensures that we provide our students with strong foundations in correct tap dancing technique, educational theory, expression, enjoyment and encouragement.
We also offer our students the opportunity to complete CSTD tap exams if they wish. Points for their exams also go towards student’s QCE study.

Tap Dance is characterised by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. The sound is made by shoes that have a metal “tap” on the heel and toe. Although it can be challenging, tap is a fun way to make one’s own music.
