DurationTap Dance is a form of dance characterized by using the sound of one’s tap shoes hitting the floor as a percussive instrument. As such, it is also commonly considered to be a form of music. Join us in celebrating our 23rd season! Established in 1997, North London Dance Centre offers more than 80 classes per week for children and adults at our beautiful studios located at 1055 Sarnia Road, in London, Ontario.
Our recreational and vocational classes are all taught only by qualified and professional instructors, to maintain the high quality of dance instruction we are known for. Our teachers actively work in the arts community as performers, choreographers, and educators, and love sharing their knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm with their students.
Tap dance is a style of dance where metal plates are attached to the heel and toe of the shoe making sounds when the shoe strikes the floor. It is a very rhythmic style of dance where the dancer is like a percussion instrument.
We follow the ADAPT (Foley) Syllabus in our Tap program. The emphasis in Tap is on creating rhythms using our feet and body as our instrument.
Tap dance classes are offered by Xklusive Dance Productions. We offer regularly scheduled classes to students aged 2-102 from Monday-Sunday

Tap dance is a genre which helps dancers with coordination, rhythm & musicality. Our CDTA classes are designed for all ages & levels. If you like to make noise with your feet, this class is for you. CDTA Tap Exam classes are also available!
