At Elite Dance Academy we provide dance classes in many genres of dance including Cecchetti Classical Ballet, Glenn Wood Tap, Jazz, Modern Lyrical, Tap, Hip Hop, Breakdance, Musical Theatre, Broadway Jazz, Contemporary dance and Acrobatics. We now also have Ready Set Dance for our pre-school age students , this is a fabulous program providing Confidence , Creativity and Coordination.
Our qualified & experienced dance teachers are trained to provide professional lessons in a fun and supportive environment according to the relevant syllabus. The teachers constantly attend workshops and classes to bring new styles and techniques to the Elite Dance Academy.
The students learn to dance whilst improving their confidence, flexibility, co-ordination, posture and fitness. The students make new friends whilst dancing and performing.
We offer Open Tap Technique classes from beginners through to advanced. Additional C.S.T.D (Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dance) Tap medal exam preperation classes are on offer via private lessons.
These classes are suitable for boys and girls from 3 years of age up to and including adults. Tap is a percussive and fast moving class that really gets your brain working!Â
Through percussion of the feet, tap dance teaches a sense of rhythm, timing and precision as well as aerobic activity.
TAPfit is a unique and fun way to reach and maintain your health goals. Using patented equipment, TAPfit promises to be a rewarding experience for people of all skill levels and age!
