This class is for the novice tap dancer as well as those with experience. For the more practiced dancer, we focus on increasing speed while tapping, more intricate rhythmic patterns, and developing style.
Our state-of-the-art dance studio is conveniently located at 19th Ave just one block of Happy Valley. in North Phoenix, providing classes in ballet, lyrical, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro, hip hop, and more.

Our tap classes are focused on learning basic tap technique, vocabulary, and rhythm through music, games, and percussive instruments. This class explores Broadway styles of tap and musical theater.

Dancers will be introduced to tap basics that will provide an excellent dance foundation as they grow. Dancers will need any color or style dance wear of their choice (leotards, tights, skirt) and Black Mary Jane Style Tap Shoes.
Civic Dance Arts Adult Beginner Tap 1A - Have you always wanted to dance but never tried, or used to dance and now want to get back into it? If so, come join our tap class. You will learn basic taps steps through warm ups, dancing across the floor and finishing off with a combination set to music.
