Our targeted workshops provide tools, curriculum access to OTL tested projects and an online teacher portal for support. You’ll be amazed how your staff starts to incorporate STEAM into their classroom, or how you have easily enticed instructors to finally open their laptop cart.
Participants Will Learn:
The mission of Outside the Lens is to amplify youth voices through photography, filmmaking, and digital media art, catalyzing change within themselves, their community, and the world.
Our innovative program engages youth, encourages them to tell their stories and teaches them that participation in their community’s future makes a difference.
We use cameras and digital media along with a proven educational strategy that allows youth to think creatively, engage in issues that are important to them and advocate for social change.
In this teacher training program, participants are introduced to TESOL methodologies and approaches, various techniques for planning and teaching classes in all the English language-skill areas, cross-cultural communication, and a variety of levels and learning styles in the ESL classroom.
The course is based on the principles and values of the Montessori method. The course is designed to equip each participant to gain confidence and serve as one of the greatest strengths of the school.
For more than a decade, Arts for Learning has partnered with schools, teachers and administrators to integrate the arts into everyday classroom learning.
Everything in this course is designed to prepare you for the day when you will be teaching your very own ESL/EFL class.Â
