Learn how to sew and design your own clothes at Making It SewFun for teens ages 13-17. We'll cover all the basics and then progressively move into more advanced techniques.
You'll learn:
New students begin with the Teen Level 1 Workbook designed for the first time sewist. Master the basic techniques by practicing foundational skills with simple projects; then continue to advance your skills as you learn how to use store-bought patterns and make more complex projects. Students can also express their own creativity by redesigning the basic patterns and adding their own details.
My mission is to teach you everything about sewing in a positive and encouraging environment. At Making It Sew Fun students learn how to sew progressively at their own pace.
We offer a structured curriculum and workshops that empower the home-sewist with the skills necessary to create well-fitted and professionally constructed garments. Another key feature is small class sizes that ensure individual attention.
Sewing class is offered by Crimson Tate for all skill level. We love seasoned quilters to the total newbies, with an emphasis on Love. Classes and events held regularly. We hope you'll come find a place at Crimson Tate. You're our people and you're very welcome here.
In the heart of NOVA, the Finishing School has gained a reputation for providing an outstanding place for learning homemaking skills. Many children have been privileged to receive instruction at The Finishing School, specifically located in Falls Church, Virginia.
When you take a class, attend an event, or join a monthly club, you become a member of the McDougal Sewing Center family. Â Adding to your knowledge is certainly part of the adventure, but meeting up with fellow creative explorers makes the learning fun.
A little applique, stitching and you've got a cute little pillow to decorate for the month! This $10 non-refundable registration fee will secure your spot. Your monthly fee includes the pattern and fabrics to make the pillow wrap and cover. Pillow insert (12x20) is not included.
Join us the first Wednesday evening of the month to work on the current month's row for the Traverse BOM! The evening will begin with a demo on how the block/row goes together with tips for success, and participants can then stay and work on the row if they wish.
