  • Plan and prepare for telescopic materials handler operations

  • Operate telescopic materials handler in line with established requirements

  • Attach, secure, lift, carry & place materials to complete work activity

  • Relocate the telescopic materials handler

  • Conduct housekeeping activities

 

Course Outline

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to conduct telescopic materials handler operations.

By completing this course the participant will gain the knowledge and the skills to 

  • Plan and prepare for telescopic materials handler operations 

  • Operate telescopic materials handler in line with established requirements 

  • Attach, secure, lift, carry and place materials to complete work activity 

  • Select, remove, fit and use attachment for telescopic materials handler

  • Relocate the telescopic materials handler

  • Conduct housekeeping activities

 

Entry Requirements

  • Fitness and agility to undertake tasks

  • Ability to understand and communicate in English

  • Have USI 

 

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course, students will be issued with

  • A statement of attainment for the unit RIIHAN309F Operating telescopic material handler

  • Same day confirmation email from TSHA with the licence number

  • Gold card issued from TSHA (Posted to the student’s mail address)
