Content:

• Module 1: Introduction to Fintech
• This introductory module explains the history of fintech in Canada and around the world, its place in the economy compared to traditional banking systems as well as what makes up financial technology. This module will allow you to understand the current situation in Canada, but also to analyze the impact of the arrival of GAFAM on the financial sector.
• Module 2: Fintech security risks and challenges
• Like any business, fintechs are at risk of having their security compromised. This situation is accentuated by the fact that they process highly sensitive information about their users. This module will present risks common to all digital businesses as well as those specific to fintech businesses. Good practices in prevention will also be discussed. This module also presents the different existing certifications necessary to work with financial institutions.
• Module 3: Regulation of fintechs
• As they own and manage a lot of critical data, fintech companies must comply with a large number of regulations, including the rules applicable to the management and protection of personal information. This module allows you to expose these obligations.
• Module 4: Anticipate and react in the event of a security incident
• Despite the precautions, the risk that business security may be compromised still exists. In this module, you will see how to prepare for this eventuality and the steps after discovering an incident.
• Comprehensive exam (Certification only)
• Once you have completed all the modules, you will be able to take the comprehensive exam. Passing this exam will allow you to have ESG+ certification. If you fail this exam, you will be able to retake the exam only once.
