Garlicky White Beans, Smokey Tomato Fragrant Lamb Tagine, and more sensational accompaniments will be demonstrated. Perfect with couscous, salads, harissa and a fragrant fruit dessert.
Just bring yourself and an appetite. Recipes will be provided. You may wish to bring a pen for note-taking.
Felicity runs the Demonstration Kitchen at Cook the Books, the Auckland-based cookbook store (est 2003). The kitchen is the home of Choice TV series 'Cook the Books', which celebrates New Zealand cookbook authors and their stories.
At Cook the Books, Felicity teaches culinary workshops on a monthly schedule and is thrilled to share two of her most popular classes with Selwyn Community Education.
Selwyn Community Education is a community education centre based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland. Each year we offer a wide range of more than 750 evening and weekend courses, plus some daytime English for Migrants courses.
During the school holidays, we offer children's art, cooking and craft courses. Join us on one of our friendly courses to meet others in the community, learn new skills and have fun.
Our course categories:
During school term time, our office is open 9am - 9pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays and Fridays, we are open 9am - 3pm. Once a month we are open for a weekend programme of courses. During school holidays we are open for limited hours.
