Welcome to the Mavis Secondary Programme! We are delighted that you have continued to put your trust in us for the continued guidance of your children as they traverse their secondary education. Our secondary programme comprises:

Lower Secondary Programme

• Lower Secondary English
• Lower Secondary Maths

The first great jump in difficulty level occurs at Secondary 1, where your child must cope with 9 subjects each of which has different requirements as compared to their primary subjects. Following that will be the streaming examinations at Secondary 2.

At Mavis, our lower secondary programme not only prepares your child for the requirements at lower secondary levels but your child will also be exposed to the type of concepts and requirements for upper secondary.

This allows our students to be able to bridge the gap between lower and upper secondary. We offer English, Mathematics, IP Mathematics, Science, IP Science and Chinese.

Integrated Programme

• IP Maths
• IP Science

IP education presents a wide variety of topics to promote critical thinking, and the pace is quick. In order to facilitate consultation and guarantee that each student receives the assistance they require, our programs are structured with small groups in mind.

The class is perfectly equipped to manage your child’s demands with specialized lecture and tutorial materials as well as supplemental educational resources that are updated yearly to keep up with the ongoing changes in the Integrated Programme school system.

Upper Secondary Programme

• Upper Secondary English
• E-Maths
• A-Maths
• Pure & Combined Chemistry
• Physics & Biology
• Chinese

At upper secondary, our programs are in place to ensure your child gains mastery of the fundamentals at sec 3 and at sec 4, the intensity levels increase to prepare your child for the ‘O’ levels.

Our students will be well trained to handle the different assessment structures required in the ‘O’ levels. We offer English, Elementary Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Pure and Combined Chemistry, Physics and Biology and Chinese.

JC Programme

• H2 General Paper
• Maths
• Chemistry
• Physics

Throughout the 2-year preparation period, our programs for JC students are offered to enhance higher-level thinking, develop a firm foundation, and improve their answering skills in A-levels.

Our tutors support effective self-study and revision for JC-level students, who work independently by providing individualized coaching, regular feedback, and extensive notes.

This means that we break down concepts for our pupils to better understand them.
