Founded in 2013, Activate Apprenticeships are now the largest apprenticeship provider in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Surrey, and continue to increase our delivery across the UK.

We foresaw and influenced major changes in the government’s apprenticeship policy and were ready to go when these changes came into effect. We now know these changes as the apprenticeship levy, employer-designed standards and related reforms.

With employers given more influence by the government, we saw an opportunity for a new kind of training provider – Activate Apprenticeships.

Activate Apprenticeships delivers apprenticeships, training and consulting to clients across the UK. We work with some of the UK’s top employers, creating fantastic apprenticeship programmes which benefit their businesses. 

As experts in apprenticeship reforms, we provide advice to clients on all aspects of learning and development, recruitment, apprenticeship standards, funding compliance and securing return on training investment. We can also work with specialist subcontractors as required by clients.

Our award-winning training is provided by our own teams at clients’ sites nationally. A third of our activity is provided by teaching staff at the Activate Learning group’s seven campuses.

With skills in short supply in many sectors, we help with recruitment and provide a talent pipeline from 16,000 students who study across the group. As a member of the Collab Group, we also bring a national network of colleges and access to a talent pipeline of over 100,000 students.

When required, our managed service delivery model looks ‘upstream’ to deliver exactly to clients’ requirements, and ‘downstream’ to our own teams and specialist delivery partners across the UK. This maximises flexibility for clients, with clear expectations for all partners and stakeholders.
