Course Aims
The Construction Induction White Card Training program aims to provide a sound understanding of:
OHS legislative requirements;
The identification of construction hazards and control measures;
OHS communication and reporting processes;
and OHS incident response procedures.
White Card Validity
On 31st July 2009, WorkSafe issued a formal notice that White Cards will no longer expire. Under the National Code of Practice, employers may still require staff to re-take the course if they have not worked in the industry for more than two years.
