The program is designed with TOEFL preparation core courses offered in the morning and workshop courses in the afternoon.
Our goal is to provide a complete learning experience that will allow our students to succeed. We have created a program that is customized to meet the needs of our students.
Columbia is CEA accredited, which means we must meet high standards for many areas such as curriculum, instruction, faculty, student services and facilities. Many English language schools in the US do not have accreditation from The Commission on English Language Program Accreditation (CEA), but either use their university or college’s general accreditation or use agencies with lower standards. We have been accredited for over a decade, and that is the Columbia Advantage.
Our Mission
Our mission is to prepare both international and local community English language learners for academic and professional success through:
English language skills development taught by highly qualified instructors.
Continual improvement in instruction and assessment in order to meet the academic needs of all students.
Teaching specific American cultural knowledge while also encouraging cross-cultural understanding and acceptance through interactive, student-centered instruction and meaningful social and academic student activities.
