TOEFL

TOEFL is known as the Test of English as a Foreign Language. It is a standardized test that assesses the proficiency of applicants, whose native language does not happen to be English. It tests the ability to understand North American English.

TOEFL scores are acknowledged by nearly 9000 colleges and organizations in more than 130 nations. In addition, many governments, licensing, and certifying agencies and exchange and scholarship programs use TOEFL scores to evaluate the English proficiency of people for whom English is not their native language.

The TOEFL ia an Internet-based Test (TOEFL iBT) that tests all four language skills important for effective communication: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing.
