Course Details

As a student preparing for the TOEFL exam, here is what you should know about the exam syllabus:

 

Listening Section:

The Listening section of the TOEFL test consists of 4-6 lectures and 2-3 conversations, each approximately 3-5 minutes in length. You will be asked to answer 6 questions per lecture and 5 questions per conversation, for a total of 34-51 questions.

 

Reading Section:

The Reading section of the TOEFL test consists of 3-5 reading passages, each approximately 700 words in length. You will be asked to answer 12-14 questions per passage, for a total of 36-56 questions.

 

Writing Section:

The Writing section of the TOEFL test consists of 2 tasks, including an integrated task and an independent task. The integrated task requires you to read a passage and listen to a lecture, and then write a response. The independent task requires you to write an essay based on your personal experience, opinion, or preference.

 

Speaking Section:

The Speaking section of the TOEFL test consists of 6 tasks, including 2 independent tasks and 4 integrated tasks. You will be asked to express your opinion, summarize information, and respond to questions, among other tasks.
