This course will equip you with the skills required to work in a tourism information office. You will develop your interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, as well as increase your geographical knowledge of places of interest in South Africa and elsewhere.
At the end of the training, you will be able to answer inquiries from tourists and offer suggestions about tours, travel routes, accommodation and local customs.

Following registration of a Learnership Agreement with the SETA, the employer is eligible for a tax incentive from SARS.
The Travel and Tourism course offers you a broad knowledge of the travel industry, from airlines, hotels, tour operators and the regulatory bodies that govern this industry. Being able to assist customers with interesting destinations and places to explore is a passion.
The National Certificate (Tourism) is a programme at each of Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the NQF.
Here at S.MAB Aviation Training, we provide the highest standards of Training which are in line with the Regulatory requirements . All training, assessments, moderations and remediations are conducted by highly experienced, qualified SACAA accredited Instructors and Designated Examiners.
The programme progresses through three levels. Each N level takes place over one semester. After each semester, students are eligible for a National Certificate on that level. We recommend continuing through all three levels in order to qualify for the National Diploma.
The tourism certificate programme covers tourism principles like tour guiding, tour operators and game rangers together with any public relations related vocation in the tourism and hospitality industry.
