The course provides the required competency to implement traffic management plans and control traffic on public roads with a stop-slow bat.
Initially operating as a forklift training provider, Foresite became an RTO in 2009, at which point warehouse training commenced.
Since this time the business has diversified to deliver additional training and licensing, yet remains focused on the industrial sectors. Key services offered are:
• Certificate programs for the road transport, civil and domestic construction and warehousing sectors
• Heavy vehicle training and licensing from light rigid to multi-combination
• Earthmoving training and assessment including excavator, bulldozer, skid steer , front end loader, backhoe loader and roller
• High risk work training and licensing including forklift, elevated work platform (above 11m)

This course is only available for operators who can provide verifiable evidence of operational experience. Current WZTM operators are required to complete this Refresher course in order to maintain their accreditation to conduct WZTM in SA.
This course provides training in controlling traffic with a stop-slow bat for a range of road conditions.
According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS), in the year ending June 2020 there were 1,157 work-related injuries in the road and rail transport industry. This highlights the importance of proper traffic control measures and training to ensure the safety of workers in this industry.
This course will provide participants with the theory and skills necessary to safely control traffic with a Stop/Slow bat in accordance with Main Roads WA standards and Austroads Guide to Temporary Traffic Management.
