Once completed the Statement of Attainment must be taken (along with the Accredited Traffic Controller Application form and licence application fee) to Qld Transport when lodging your Traffic Controllers Licence Application.
Course Delivery
Face to face training and assessment is conducted at one of Link Resources purpose built training facilities.
Upon arrangement, training and assessment can be conducted on-site at the premises of industry clients providing there a suitable infrastructure and industry training facilities.
Outcomes
Students who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment (RIIWHS205D Control traffic with stop-slow bat) recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
This certification is nationally recognised. The Statement is issued by Link Resources Training Pty Ltd (RTO 45483).
Entry Requirements
It is a requirement of this course to obtain a Construction Induction White Card. Students will be able to attend the theory component of the training if they do not possess a White Card.
However, they will need to provide Link Resources Training with a copy their White Card, or evidence they have completed the training prior to commencing the practical training.
Participants will need a basic level of language and literacy, as this course requires participants to complete a theory assessment and receive a 100% pass mark.
Drivers Licence:
It is a requirement for your to have held an open or provisional driver licence (Australian or foreign) within the last 5 years (this ensures applicants have an understanding of vehicle manoeuvrability and braking dynamics).
If the participant is under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will need to sign the enrolment form on behalf of the student.
Students will be required to obtain the following PPE to complete their practical assessment.
Long Pants with reflective stripes
Long Sleeved High Visibility shirt with reflective stripes
Hard Hat with brim
Steel capped safety boots
Gloves
Safety glasses (sunglasses ok)

The traffic controller course is compleed in one-day and is delivered at our Port Melbourne Training Depot, the day is made up of classroom and practical training simulating traffic activity.
