This training is based on the NWT/NU Code of Practice and covers roles and responsibilities, clothing, accessories, and PPE for various conditions, traffic control equipment, directions, configurations, radio communications, emergency preparation and response.

This course provides a general overview of the legislation which governs workers involved in a traffic control plan for a construction site. Participants will be taught how to develop an effective traffic control plan, and how to identify and control hazards related to road construction.
BEST Safety Training has developed this course to help guide employers in the set up of traffic control devices in temporary construction, maintenance, and utility work zones.
This workshop is designed for participants who have little or no working knowledge to perform their duties and obligations as Traffic Control Personnel.
