This course provides you with information about employer, supervisor and worker responsibilities and best work practices for safe job performance.
Students will receive instruction on personal protective equipment, practices and procedures, flagging, legislation, positioning and communicating with the motoring public and work crews.
Working conditions, traffic situations, struck-by hazards and night work are also discussed. Students will spend time in the classroom as well as outdoors practicing in a mock traffic set-up.

Construction flagging is a challenging job and needs the utmost attention and care. The TCP certification program is required to be completed prior to becoming a flagger. CSA approved steel toed boots with ankle support are required during this course.
