This skill set addresses the skills and knowledge to work as a traffic controller This entry level traffic management training ensures persons have the required traffic control licence to control vehicle and pedestrian traffic using stop-slow bats, hand signals & approved communication devices in the resources and infrastructure industries.
Who can enrol in this qualification
All persons who wish to enter and establish themselves into the traffic control/management industry.
Established in 1999, Executive Training Group (ETG) is a Registered Training Organisation offering training in Security Operations, Aviation Transport Protection, Hospitality, Work, Health & Safety Victoria, Transport & Logistics. Executive Training Group has been providing nationally recognised training for licensing and non licensing outcomes for 18 years.
The company is also accredited with the NSW & Victorian Police, Safework NSW, Worksafe Victoria, VCGLR and the NSW Liquor & Gaming, Risk Management institute of Australia, Security Trainers Association and is a member of ASIAL.
This course is a requirement for personnel who are required to control traffic using a stop slow bat Course includes four (4) units of competency RIIWHS201D Work Safely and Follow WHS Policies and Procedures
This course is a comprehensive and instructive course that meets the national standards in traffic management training. It is delivered with Victorian centric content, but also includes information relevant for traffic control in other states & territories.
This course has been designed to provide all training required to work as a traffic controller in Western Australia. As well as training, we have also thrown in an employment pack.
The traffic controller course is compleed in one-day and is delivered at our Port Melbourne Training Depot,  the day is made up of classroom and practical training simulating traffic activity.
These units of competency provide the candidate with the required knowledge and understanding to be able to control traffic with stop-slow bat as well as implement a traffic management plan within the civil construction industry.Â
