Traffic Marshall (Banksman)

Banksmen are operatives trained to direct vehicle movement on or around site. They are often called traffic marshals.

Our 1/2 Day Traffic Marshal (Banksman) Course is a very important ticket to have for anyone working in construction, security, manufacturing, hospitality, parking enforcement or anyone with the responsibility of loading, unloading and movement of vehicles.

The course is aimed at supervisors, managers and anyone who wishes to control vehicles on and around site.

Outcomes:

• Able to manage health and safety on site, in accordance with current law within the context of your management role
• Understand your duties regarding legal, moral and social and welfare obligations
• Demonstrate awareness that a safe site is economical, productive and efficient
• Implement health and safety, environmental and welfare legislation relevant to a construction site
• Understand and know how to implement new guidance and best practice
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements.
