This will replace the existing city recycling centre at Midland Road and will complement the recently delivered Keynsham Recycling Hub. The new facility will ensure that residents in the city continue to have easy access to household recycling services.
The new recycling centre will be located at an existing council depot at Locksbrook Road to the west of the city centre.
A planning application for the new recycling centre is being prepared. Prior to submitting the planning application, the council is running a programme of public engagement and has established this dedicated website to provide an overview of the emerging proposals and an opportunity for members of the community to provide comments.
