AIM: To introduce participants to key skills for training delivery and course writing
At the end of this two-day course, participants will:
Understand key educational and training theories, including adult learning, curriculum alignment and how to be learner-centred
Have designed a training product
Have learnt and practiced key skills for trainers
This course is aimed at any staff whose role involves training, education and delivering information. Increasingly, staff are expected to work effectively in groups, and to deliver high quality information on a variety of topics.
This course goes ‘behind the scenes’ of training delivery to look at pedagogy and learning theory, and how to these can be applied with a group of adult learners. Attendees need no previous experience, but should be prepared for high levels of participation, skills application and some work between the two days of attendance.
You will be notified 2 weeks in advance of the course if you have a place and will be sent the pre-course information and invoice at this stage.
