This course has been designed to enable the planning and delivery of an outcome-based learning session.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the differences between training and presenting

  • Identify the 4 stages of learning and which stage their learners are at

  • Design and plan outcome-based sessions that work for each learning style and ensure that the content is more likely to be retained

  • Role model the core practises of great trainers

  • Run and debrief learning exercises effectively

  • Manage the training environment and handle tricky situations

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of their own practice

Participants will be requested to complete a couple of short questionnaires and come to the course with a piece of training in mind, that they currently deliver or will be delivering in the future.
