About Transport Training Academy
Transport Training Academy (TTA) is a well-established logistics training organisation based and operating from two centres in the North West of England, but also providing logistics training to clients and customers on a national level.
Transport Training Academy was formed in 2004 with the objective of delivering driving assessments to small and medium-size transport companies. Since then TTA has developed and expanded to where we are today offering a variety of training to the Transport, Construction, Distribution and Logistics sectors.
We deliver a range of different courses including licence acquisition, Forklift Truck training, warehousing, construction and management development, all of which can be tailored to your specific business needs.
Courses are carried out at either of our two purpose built training centres which have high spec classroom facilities and modern training equipment. Also at these sites are warehouse and plant training facilities as well as a vehicle manoeuvring area which replicate the DVSA test centre requirements. Some aspects of training can be carried out on customer premises, subject to an onsite risk assessment.

The key requirement in any training is to keep your delegates awake and engaged so you can get the information across in a way they are likely to remember when they’ve left your room. That can be challenging depending on the delegates, the material and the training environment.
If you’re looking to develop training skills in-house, we’re here to help. Over the past 50 years, we‘ve developed a reputation for delivering the best trainer training programmes.
