This program helps prepare you for the Certified Training PractitionerTM (CTP) designation exam. The CTP designation is appropriate for instructors, facilitators, trainers and master trainers.
Courses are offered on a variety of dates and times and can be taken in any order allowing you to build your own schedule. The program’s flexibility lets you start whenever you want, taking only the courses that meet your work and career needs.

Over the years, we’ve matched community needs — as a hospital during the Spanish Flu pandemic and as a Royal Canadian Air Force Wireless Training School during the Second World War.
Fast forward to today and SAIT’s action-based learning, solution-focused research and industry partnerships are helping to shape the next generation of inventors, entrepreneurs and pioneers.
This individual training day takes place on Day 7 and is not mandatory for Campus Trainers but is highly recommended.

Learn the latest approaches in curriculum development, instruction, and reflective evaluation for teachers in adult-learning environments.
Participants will learn tips on how to engage an adult audience for the purposes of communication safety information at a site level and will practice presentation development and instruction skills using a toolbox talk format.
After successful monitoring, candidates are authorized to teach first aid courses on their own.
