The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the knowledge to handle, receive, prepare for transport and transport radioactive materials while protecting the safety of the public and adhering to all governing regulations.
This component of the Radiation Safety Officer Series focuses on the practical aspects of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations with respect to Class 7 Radioactive Materials.
It is designed for persons working or planning to work in an educational, medical or laboratory setting where radioactive materials are received or shipped by ground and/or air.

This is a self-directed course with all materials available online. A TDG Certificate will be issued to participants who successfully complete the online exam and achieve a passing grade.
