Safety Services Manitoba’s TDG training provides students with the most current legislative information including industry best practices.
This program teaches participants how to identify hazardous products, control hazards from these products, and safely handle controlled products.TDG regulations are designed to improve public safety when dangerous goods are being handled, offered for transport, or transported by air.
They are a set of rules that set safety standards and shipping requirements for hazardous goods. The regulations also provide a means of communicating the nature and level of danger associated with chemicals by means of placards and hazard symbols.

Participants will receive a certificate upon successful completion of this course.

Anyone involved in handling, offering for transport or transporting dangerous goods by air must be TDG trained. This includes Shippers, Receivers, and those who load and offload dangerous materials.
35.3(1) an employer must ensure that a worker who works with or near a controlled product or performs work involving the manufacture of a controlled product receives training in the following.

TDG Course is offered by Safety Training Ottawa.
This is critical health and safety training for anyone who may handle or transport dangerous goods according to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods course is offered by Local 1208 Training. LiUNA Local 1208 Training is committed to providing quality, proactive and industry driven training opportunities to its members throughout the province of Newfoundland and Labrador.
This course is required for workers who handle dangerous goods including those that load or unload shipments and anyone who will be transporting the dangerous goods to their final destination.
Course length is usually 4 to 12 hours depending on the course.
