Participants will learn to properly label, document and package dangerous goods for road or air transport. Emphasis is placed on the handling of diagnostic specimens, biological products, genetically modified organisms, and dry ice.

You can access the TDG Act and Regulations in both official languages.Many goods we routinely transport as private citizens are regulated when they are transported in an occupational capacity.
Some occupations in Canada are very risk, specifically those that handle dangerous goods. Dangerous goods fall under the government’s controlled substances, meaning they have to be classified and handling them is strictly regulated.
This course covers all aspects of the TDG system, aimed primarily at ensuring students will have a clear understanding of the requirements
TDG training is needed if the types of products that you intend to handle (ship, transport and receive) meet the definition of a dangerous good, as defined in the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and Regulations.
Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive a 3-year certification in TDG.
