Transportation of Dangerous Goods Training

This up-to-date course meets all of Transport Canada’s training requirements under the TDG Regulations and is designed to provide focused comprehensive training in the principles and intent of the act.

Course Topics 

• Training Classification

• Preparation of documents such as shipping papers

• Using dangerous goods safety marks to communicate hazards that the product may pose to the public or the environment

• Selection of appropriate containment (packaging)

• Emergency response assistance plans (ERAP) if required

• Reporting incidents

Who Requires this Training

• This course is mandatory for anyone handing, offering for transport, or transporting dangerous goods, from drivers, to shippers, to management

• You must be re-certified every 3 years and you must be retrained at every change of Employer.
