This starts with the basic travel arranger’s check-list and converting these into a sound travel solution that matches the traveller’s needs. Students learn about useful online tools to be able to create and manage a travel schedule. Travel and entertainment are amongst the most expensive purchases for a company and it is essential that this budget is spent wisely.
In addition, students will learn about the tourism industry, tourism geography and eco-tourism– both in South Africa and internationally.

The Travel and Tourism course offers you a broad knowledge of the travel industry, from airlines, hotels, tour operators and the regulatory bodies that govern this industry. Being able to assist customers with interesting destinations and places to explore is a passion.
The programme progresses through three levels. Each N level takes place over one semester. After each semester, students are eligible for a National Certificate on that level. We recommend continuing through all three levels in order to qualify for the National Diploma.
The National Certificate (Tourism) is a programme at each of Levels 2, 3 and 4 of the NQF.
Explore the many ground service tasks involved to support aircraft both pre- and post-flight. Jumpstart your ground services career with concrete knowledge of how to perform day-to-day duties safely and efficiently.
Tourism course certification is offered by Tshwane South College. As a public institution, TSC and her counterparts’ fundamental mandate is to indiscriminately equip South Africa’s young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills at intermediate level.
