At Platinum Driver Training we offer a non unit standard based course, covering theory and practical requirements for crane operation.
Platinum Driver Training Ltd. was founded in June 2012 and commenced operations in September of 2012. Company founders David and Robyn Semaine have a combined experience of over 35 years in the commercial road transport and training industry and are committed to the delivery of quality training.
People credited with this unit standard are able to: explain why workplace accidents need to be reported and investigated; explain the concepts of multiple causation and root-cause analysis; detail an incident investigation process using a hypothetical incident.
This course is aimed at ensuring people working as permit receivers/issuers can understand and demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and attributes for all essential areas covered under the full “best practice” guidelines in the workplace.
The course will give you a brief overview of asbestos & the health risks so you understand why you need to take certain control measures when working around it. We will explain what the different types of RPE are and which ones you will be needing to use for your project.
Asbestos is still the biggest single killer in the New Zealand workplace, and we need to be aware of the potential for asbestos in, near, and around workplaces and the plant and equipment in those workplaces.
As an employer, our safety programmes will help you to meet OSH regulations in respect to health and safety training while as an employee you will gain skills, knowledge and confidence in the safe use of vehicles and equipment under all conditions.
