Having got my passion back for crafting I decided to retrain and was fortunate to undertake an apprenticeship for a tailor on Savile Row. In this role I learned the finer details of tailoring and hand finishing and my love for garment making grew.
Dressmaking lessons that are suitable for the beginner. You will learn all the basic sewing skills including sewing straight seams, cutting skills, pressing skills, inserting zips, taking body measurements, fitting and reading and understanding a commercial pattern.
Knitting classes are offered by myBearpaw for all skill level. myBearpaw classes where you can learn new skills in a friendly, relaxed environment. With an emphasis on fun and creativity, the aim of our workshops is to share skills and inspire students to get involved in a wide range of crafts.
