Whether you are looking to learn for fun or to join a ukulele club, we can get you strumming
We provide ukulele lessons tailored to your needs. At the initial level, you will master all the must-know chords for playing your favourite songs in a short amount of time. You'll also discover the tricks for moving from one chord to another effortlessly and smoothly. You will also learn how to tune and string your ukulele, as well as strum with a good sense of rhythm.
Our lessons are suitable for all the different sizes of ukulele.
Bateau Bay Home of Music currently consists of two qualified, professional and experienced musicians and teachers, Simon and Adrienne Townsend. They love to create music together in their Central Coast home and enjoy sharing this passion for music with their students.
Parents of children getting music lessons are welcome to sit in the lounge area for the duration of the lesson and observe the lesson or can pick up their child at the end of the lesson.

Ukulele Lessons are offered by Sam's Guitar School. Lessons are taught by the term, terms are 10 weeks each, and I run 4 terms throughout the year. As it can be difficult to refill a time slot once the term has began, I do require a term commitment after the first two weeks.
The St. Albans School of Music currently conducts classes in Ukulele. The lessons are all conducted on a one to one basis but small groups can be organised, preferably on enrolment at the same time.
Ukulele Lessons are offered by Cecere's Music. All lessons are one on one, which is the only way to learn and progress at your pace.
Learn ukulele in Boronia or Carrum Downs at the Eastern Suburbs School of Music. Ukulele is a quick and easy instrument to get a start on. It is portable, inexpensive and perfect for any age.
The ukulele from hawaii is a member of the lute family of instruments. It generally employs four nylon or gut strings or four courses of strings. Some strings may be paired in courses, giving the instrument a total of six or eight strings.
