These fun, creative training sessions give people the chance to develop their understanding around certain topics, gain advice and support and feel empowered to implement new strategies and ideas to improve difficult situations within their own workplace or family home.
Our team at Sunrise Wellbeing Therapy Centre also regularly offer fun, therapeutic workshops for children, young people and families to support with emotional understanding, self-esteem, regulation and relaxation.

Sunrise Wellbeing Therapy Centre was founded by Shelley Smith – Integrative Psychotherapist (MBACP) / Managing Director
Shelley is passionate about offering a therapeutic service to help people of all ages with their presenting issues, to support their mental health and wellbeing and to provide them with strategies and skills that can prevent their troubles from escalating.
We are all just trying our best in this busy world but sometimes need a little support along the way, especially in times of difficulty. This is why it was always Shelley’s dream to be able to offer a hub of therapeutic and holistic support to all.
We are delighted to provide an award-winning holistic therapeutic service to support children, young people and adults to meet their own individual needs and Shelley is proud of creating our Wellbeing Therapy Centre which opened it’s doors in July 2020.
Sunrise Wellbeing became a Community Interest Company in 2021 and continues to offer support, training and workshops within our social enterprise, with continuous exciting plans to expand even further.
At our centre we now have a Team of Associate Wellbeing Practitioners & Therapists, along with our Volunteer Team of trainees working towards their therapy qualifications. Our wonderful Centre Team provides a wealth of experience and support to our communities, in person and online.
Anger is an emotion that everyone will experience from time to time but with the correct training and discipline, you can easily learn to control your anger.
We’re all angry sometimes, but anger can insert itself into our lives so much that we risk ruining relationships, losing a job, or even ending up in difficulty with the police. This half-day workshop discusses what’s going on in those moments where anger takes control.
