You'll bring an empty candy bag and we'll provide the rest! Please bring a $3 material fee to be paid directly to your instructor.
All ages welcome. Please purchase a seat for EACH sewist who is attending. Basic sewing experience suggested (be able to thread the machine, load a bobbin, etc).
Cut & Sew is a modern quilt shop and sewing studio that offers sewing classes and workshops for kids and adults in Northwest Philadelphia. We serve our community's children through after-school clubs, homeschool lessons, workshops during school breaks, and camps over the summer.

Whether you are a master quilter or just starting out, we have the experience and talent to help you with your creative journey. This is a fabulous way to make friends with other creatives who share your passion, whatever your skill level along with our talented instructors!
Included with the cost of the class: Scissors, Ruler, Materials/Fabrics, a Doll or Hat to make, and use of a Sewing Machine. For adults, pre-teens, and kids, anyone from beginners to those with some knowledge of sewing. 5 spots available for each class.
Join us in-person to make pillowcases for veterans that are part of the Road Home Program at Rush Hospital. The Road Home is dedicated to the mental health and wellness of veterans, service members, members of the National Guard, reservists and families.
In the Children’s Sewing Class, beginning and intermediate students will learn how to use their machine, take measurements , lay out and cut fabric, read a pattern, understand the pattern directions, finish seams and learn sewing techniques. Students will advance at their own pace.
Learn techniques for sewing with your serger like inside curves and outside curves. Setting up your machine for a rolled hem. Also learn more about differential feed and when and how to adjust it.
